Project Information

Project Overview

TapSafeTap is an iOS safety application built with SwiftUI and Apple Watch integration. The app monitors a user's heart rate during walks, performs periodic safety check-ins, and alerts emergency contacts when unusual activity is detected or the user fails to respond. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience with SwiftUI, HealthKit, Apple Watch integration, MVVM architecture, and designing user-friendly mobile experiences for real-world safety scenarios.

The app integrates with Apple Watch to monitor the user's heart rate in real time and performs periodic safety check-ins throughout a walk. If an abnormal heart rate is detected or the user fails to respond to a safety prompt, the app can notify a designated emergency contact, providing an additional layer of personal security.
